Does the idea of creating an application that can be used by real people online around the world challenge you? Enter the Next Generation Web Award competition and write a Web Application using modern technologies such as Silverlight or ASP.NET. It’s a chance to start competing locally, show off your skills and then hopefully be introduced as the Next Generation Web Award winning team at the Worldwide Finals. You and up to 3 friends can form a team and apply your creative genius to creating a solution inspired by the 2010 Theme. Create innovative software and service application that unleashes the power of technology to benefit your area or … the entire planet.
- Register and sign-up your team (maximum team size: 4 people).
- Read the complete Rules and Regulations for this competition. Make sure you carefully review and understand the Round 1 and Round 2 entry requirements, deadlines and judging criteria.
- Submit your Round 1 entry before March 1, 2010 at 11:59 P.M. GMT. We recommend that you begin the upload process for your entry at least 12 hours prior to the deadline in case you experience technical difficulties.
One of the requirements in your entry is a screencast. Never made a screencast before? Simply download Microsoft Expression 3 from DreamSpark or through the free trial. Expression 3 includes an intuitive application for creating screencasts.
Questions? Post them to the Generation Web Award forum.
